Traditional 2D Hand Drawn Animation

This is all traditional hand drawn animation from my first animation class. We used a lightboard to draw each animation and then used a photo station to take pictures of each frame. We then used Adobe After Effects to put it all together.

This was my final animation for this class.

This animation was to demonstrate exaggeration and timing. What better than a scared sloth?

I don't remember what this assignment was for because my cat I had growing up had just died. I used this as an opportunity to commemorate my love for her.

If I ever remake this animation I would bring the camera closer to the penguin and the fish so that you can better see the expression on the fish as he throws the banana peel. Everything in the background distracts from that.
